Dan Vahdat is the Founder and CEO of Huma, a global digital health company that uses digital biomarkers, machine learning and real-world data from continuous patient monitoring to create hospitals at home and decentralized clinical trials. Huma's mission is to help people live their longest, fullest lives by developing proactive and predictive healthcare. In the fight against COVID-19, Huma has developed virtual wards that double clinical capacity and has live deployments across the UK and Germany. Dan is an award-winning innovator in the fields of science and technology, having pursued a PhD in Bioengineering at Johns Hopkins (US) and Oxford University (UK) before leaving to focus on his business.
