Elizabeth Seger
Director
Elizabeth is the Director of CASM, Demos’ digital policy research hub. DEMOS is a cross-party political think tank in London, founded in 1993. She works on Open source policy and AI and democracy and the impact on elections. Elizabeth previously was a Research Scholar at GovAI where she investigated foundation model release strategy and policy. She holds a PhD in Philosophy of Science and Technology from the University of Cambridge, where she remains a research affiliate with the AI: Futures and Responsibility (AI:FAR) project. She also holds a BSc in Bioethics from UCLA.
