Vore is currently the Vice Chair of Digital Bio and Medicine at Singularity University and a Nonresident Fellow at the Atlantic Council within the Geotech Center. She is a futurist, sci-fi author, explorer of worlds, nurturer of women of color in STEM, blogger, "rousing speaker", author of forthcoming book(s), guitarist, and an expert on CRISPR, the microbiome, longevity, genetics, agriculture, climate change, space biology, biomimicry, and biohacking. Vora has her undergrad from NYU and a PhD in molecular bio from Princeton. She was formerly with the American University of Cairo and she also was an instructor in bioengineering at Stanford. Vora is the co-founder of several startups.
